In order to give the new students a memorable experience, Student Union of Institute for Tourism Studies held a two-days and one-night O-Camp successfully at the Coloane Eagle Training. From 31st August to 1st September 2013, Almost 70 student participated and supported this camp. There are many games that was designed and organized by our members, such as ice-breaking, team working game. Freshmen were learnt more about the structure and activities of Student Union, established the sincere friendship and cultivated good relations. Student Union of Institute for Tourism Studies will, as always, organize a new activity every August and September, please closely follow the website of Student Union.

The IFT Alumni Annual Dinner was successfully held on 7 June, 2013 at L’Arc Macau. Ms. Florence Ian, Acting president of IFT, Mr. Antonio Chu, Head of Technical and Academic Support Division of IFT, Mr. William Wong, President of Board of Directors of IFT Alumni Association, members of IFT Alumni Association and Student Union, alumnus and other guests attended.

The 4rd Green Fashion Show has held on 7th April at the Amphitheatre of IFT, this competition is organized by Student Union of IFT and the theme is “Noah Ark”. Nowadays, people always pursuit material and ignore the environmental protection, such as light pollution, water pollution, noisy pollution and energy consumption. We always hear lots of news about the rare animal extinction or precious resources shortage. Therefore, do you aware those precious things become less and less? Moreover, we hope that can make teenager have an awareness of the mainly environmental pollution. It is not necessary to use money to get everything. At the same time, all participators can show their creative design and also know the message of environmental protection and resource conservation.

The 19th Inauguration Ceremony of IFT Student Union was held on 14 Jan at IFT Grand Hall. Distinguished guests, lecturers and students participated in this great event. During this inauguration ceremony, the president of the 18th Student Union gave his sincere appreciation to all the members who had given a lot of help in the previous year. After that, with the witnesses from the guests, lecturers and students, the members of the 19thStudent Union and the sub-clubs gave their pledge to serve the student body and the Institute. The president of the 19th Student Union also gave her sincere appreciation to 18th Student Union and promise to build an even brighter future.
