Idea-cation @ IFTM 2022
Idea-cation @ IFTM aims to seek innovative and viable solutions tailored for our industries (e.g. tourism, hospitality, F&B, MICE, retail). Following last year’s success, this second edition calls for innovative recovery strategies amidst adversity which can help Macao’s local retail brands to transform or seize new opportunities. Through the hybrid mode event, participants will be meeting new friends, pitching their innovative ideas, and having great fun while gaining new insights from our industry/academic experts.
Finalist teams will participate in the 3-day programme on 11-13 November 2022 which is supported by 8 local brands in the categories of jewellery, health & skincare, fashion apparel, and cultural & creative products respectively. Judges (representatives from the supporting brands and IFTM) will evaluate finalists teams' pitching performance and final proposals to determine the outstanding teams.

Pitching (Expected Output)
Finalist teams are expected to participate fully in this idea-cation to flesh out their initial proposal into a more concrete plan.
Finalist teams will then pitch their ideas on the last day by live streaming.
Judges will evaluate both the pitching performance and the content of the final business proposal to determine the winning teams.
