The THES413 Writing Centre offers services to all students, with required students having to sign up and attend a minimum of two seminars and/or tutorials in each cycle.
The writing centre provides a range of services, including assistance in searching for relevant literature, strategies for reading and note-taking, synthesizing, enhancing written coherence, self-editing strategies for structure and grammar, organizing paragraphs, employing paraphrasing techniques to reduce similarity, and utilizing the THES413 template. These services aim to support students in developing their research work effectively and maintaining high-quality written output.
In response to social distancing measures and the needs of remote students, virtual sessions have also been arranged. Students are encouraged to make use of these services early in the semester to ensure smooth progress in their research thesis or project.
